Mission
The Idaho Federation of Teachers is the organization of Idaho’s union locals affiliated with the American Federation of Teachers, the largest member of the AFL-CIO.
Idaho’s AFT locals are at Idaho State University, the University of Idaho, and Boise State University.
We provide employees of our colleges and universities a vehicle for mutual aid, and we advocate for all of those who work in higher education, and for the students we serve. We offer information, support, and legal assistance for union members in cases of job-related grievances.
