The Idaho Federation of Teachers is the official state organization of teachers union locals affiliated with the American Federation of Teachers, the largest member of the AFL-CIO.
The Idaho Federation of Teachers, affiliate 8010, is the umbrella organization for the Idaho State University Local 2438, the University of Idaho Local 3215, and Boise State University Local 3537.
We provide employees of our universities a vehicle for mutual aid. We offer information and moral support, and can offer legal assistance for union members in cases of job-related grievances.
